Cancer Treatment Depends On Whether The Tumor Is Benign Or Malignant!

Cancer is type of tumor having abnormal growth. These are the cells which start growing limitlessly. All tumors are not cancers. The tumors which do not have cancer cells are called benign tumors, but the ones which have cancer cells are called malignant tumors. This identification, whether the tumor is benign or cancerous, is done by various tests like biopsy, blood tests, Radiation test etc.

Cancer cells not only grow in an uncontrollable manner, but effect neighboring parts also, thus affecting the whole functioning of the body. Studies show that this uncontrollable growth is due to the presence of telomerase enzyme in the cells which doesn’t stop them from dividing.

Statistics show that the number of cancer victims is increasing day by day all over the world. Not only the elderly people, but even young children also have it. Patients suffering from breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer etc. are found in each part of the world. There are various factors like increased pollution level, unhealthy food habits, lack of physical exercise etc, which are responsible for it up to some extent.

There are various methods of cancer treatments available. New drugs are being invented and various awareness programs are being done. Along with the allopathic and surgical treatments, there are various alternative therapies also to fight against the disease.
