Giving an Allowance to Teach about Income

In most households, chores that children have to do are often instilled. As a result of the chores that are accomplished every week, children are often rewarded with an allowance. An allowance is a good means of teaching children about the importance of working for an income. Teaching about an income through an allowance is a good starting point for most children, as this will be the only source of income that they have. This allots for saving money, as well as spending money on items that are desired for a while by the child.
