Goldypants and the Two Brothers

There was a young lady who was called Goldypants by her class-mates because she was a cheerleader and that was the color of her pants. Her eyes were blue and her hair the color of blond hardwood flooring. She got lost in the woods on her way home from shining her granny’s hardwood flooring. She came upon a small cottage in the woods and knocked on the door. No one answered and the door was unlocked so she went in. The flooring of the cottage was the most beautiful hardwood floors she had ever seen. She could not resist admiring them closely and bent to run her hand over them to feel the cool smoothness of the flooring. And then she saw it, a scratch in the otherwise perfect flooring. Shocked at finding such an imperfection she looked for the floor wax to fix the unsightly mark. She found their flooring care kit and proceeded to wax the floor. She did all the hardwood floors in the cottage and although they were perfect, she was tired and lay down for a nap in the recliner. Later in the day the owners of the cabin came in and found gold pants sleeping in their favorite chair. The brother carrying the hardwood flooring strips dropped them loudly and she woke with a start. She sat up and saw the two brothers as they were admiring the lovely hardwood floors she left for them and as they had their backs to her she ran out the door and back to her school.
