GPS Tracking – to Track Your Spouse?

Posted on January 2, 2009 - Filed Under General |

Today you can track virtually anything or anybody on the move, with the help of GPS Tracking satellite technologies. GPS Tracking can pin-point the location of whatever being tracked (your spouse, or yourself, included). Now is this a good thing, or does it go against the basics of human values?

Talking about spousal relationships, they are supposed to be built on trust. So, as a part of everyday life if someone decides to track his spouse just to know what he/she is doing by the minute, it probably needs censure. But, what if there are definite grounds to suspect cheating, and your need is just to verify what you already know… well don’t you think tracking your spouse could be justified?

There could be many other situations where such questions of ethics could come up. You might not desire to track your teenager son by GPS Tracking everyday, but there could be a situation where you might find it absolutely desirable – according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Information, drivers between the ages of 16 and 24 are 20 times more likely to get into a car accident that others… a valid reason? Now you are tracking their car, really. Isn’t it?
