When your printer requires a replacement of inkjet cartridges, your computer screen displays certain messages that indicate that the printer is out of ink. It is always advisable to check your printer’s ink levels timely to find out if your ink cartridges are full or nearing completion.
It is important to purchase a proper compatible inkjet cartridge for your printer, so that the print quality is not affected, or the mechanism of the printer is not affected by incompatible cartridges. The inkjet cartridges come in color and black, so if you use a color printer, you need replacement of both the varieties in case both have run out of ink.
Printer cartridges are different for different manufacturers. Epson uses a different kind of inkjet cartridges, which are not compatible with the printers of HP, Canon, etc. The difference lies in the kind of inkjet cartridge type they use, with Epson using a piezoelectric inkjet cartridge, while the other manufacturers use thermal inkjet cartridges. As far as the quality is concerned, both the type of cartridges deliver high quality finish, but there is a slight cost difference involved. Apart from the printer manufactured inkjet cartridges, there are other reputed brands to choose from, but make sure these are compatible with your printer.
