Thesis Writing: Breaking the Conventional Though Process

Posted on February 21, 2008 - Filed Under Education |

Although not entirely different, thesis writing and dissertation writing are almost similar. The effort required and the time taken is essentially consistent across writing such papers. While there is no clear distinction, thesis writing is more commonly accepted across the globe as an academic paper required for getting the coveted bachelor’s degree.

Thesis writing is aimed at achieving a new discipline by breaking the conventional thought process and aims to bring into the minds of people something more revolutionary, more new and is based on research. Akin to dissertation writing, thesis writing is an outcome of some good research and a great deal of understanding and effort.

A good thesis, when examined closely and scrutinized with a great deal of commonsense, leads to expansion of the ideas presented. This kind of analysis, more often than not leads to a good thesis being published as a book. When a thesis, on the other hand, is written just for getting a bachelor’s degree ends up more like a book report and is not conventionally accepted as an actual work. The work needs to be more dynamic and of course essentially path breaking. No wonder, most of them end up in rubbish bins now-a-days.
